Staff Development Plan

Vision Statement

My vision is for all sixth grade social studies teachers to be comfortably integrating technology into their classrooms on a daily basis for the purpose of enhancing and maximizing student learning.

We currently have all of the tools and resources in our classrooms to make this happen, but need the knowledge and skills necessary to apply them.  This, coupled with rising standards and accountability with NCLB and the state of Texas, has has guided us to strive to utilize technology to its fullest in order to exceed all current expectations while still preparing our students for the world of today and the future.
